Star Retail Advisors was engaged by Seritage Growth Properties and Invesco Real Estate, on behalf of their pension fund client, to lead the leasing and repositioning of a former Sears department store and sites situated on 13 acres adjacent to the highly successful Westfield UTC mall. Working in close coordination with ownership, design and construction teams, Star developed and executed a 220,000 square foot master plan and led the leasing efforts, resulting in the property being fully leased and stable at rents exceeding pro-forma expectations and achieving 100% occupancy.

After acquiring a prominent $3.5 billion grocery-anchored shopping center portfolio, comprising of 39 centers across the western United States from JPMorgan and a regional retail development group, FWR engaged Star Retail Advisors to lead the asset management function for this portfolio. This senior executive role included conducting strategic property reviews, setting high-level strategy, managing risk, approving budgets and lease transactions, and monitoring financial performance, all leading to maximizing financial returns and long term portfolio value.
